Can an existing villa be equipped with a lift?
Yes, it can. KALEA home lifts do not require a bottom pit, machine room or have a top-level height requirement. There’s no need to excavate a bottom pit, which prevents the floor heating system from being damaged.

Can lifts be installed in the middle of a limited set of stairs?
Yes, it can. Even if the reserved position is in the middle of a set of stairs with limited space, KALEA’s professionals can help you with any concerns regarding the installation.
What is the minimum size of a home lift?
The available space in the internal platform can be 600×800 (mm), the floor area can be less than one square meter, the load is approximately 250-300kg and it can fit one to two people. However, since different brands offer different sizes, it is recommended that you test and experience the different lifts first before making a purchase.
The minimum reserved space of a KALEA home lift is 1000×980 (mm). KALEA offers a variety of sizes for you to choose from.

What is the safest type of home lift?
The safety of home lifts requires a comprehensive consideration of many factors. However, because screw-type lifts employ a number of safety functions and use a motorized nut and screw design, it is considered one of the safest lifts for your home.
When a screw-type lift is in operation, the nut moves along the screw driving the ascent and descent of the lift. In the event of a power failure, the screw-type lift will descend very slowly due to the unique occlusal structure. Today’s home screw lifts are equipped with an emergency power UPS, which will run to the next floor and open the lift doors when the power is cut to ensure that customers can leave safely.
Due to the limitation of the screw, the lifting height of the lift is limited, and the screw-type lift is generally limited to a height of fewer than six floors, which limits height danger to some extent.
